What is CrossFit?
Dubbed "The Toughest Workout Ever", by Muscle and Fitness Magazine, CrossFit is a strength and conditioning program based on constantly varied functional exercises executed at high intensity.
The difference between our workouts and those inside the walls of box gyms is quite simply, "function". Here, you will train to excel in your daily life. |

In an effort to provide the best programming available to our guests, we intentionally avoid using machines, which inhibit the
body’s ability to naturally support itself. Enhancing spinal and lumbo-hip-pelvic stabilization as well as increasing the core strength of each individual is paramount in all of our training programs, and this simply cannot be accomplished optimally with machine-based training. Using our unique method of constant variation within our training programs, the
muscle fibers in the body are under continual stress during exercise. No workouts are ever the same as we continually change the exercise, load and volume, to prevent muscle adaptation, and challenge the entire nervous system. With variation of strength training and tough metabolic conditioning, you will teach your body to move the way it was built to. You will become stronger, quicker and more powerful than you have ever been without gaining the bodybuilder appearance. You will not
only learn to be healthy, but you will learn what it means to be "functionally fit" as well.
Who is CrossFit For?
Men, women and children can participate in these fun and interactive classes, regardless of physical condition. Each CrossFit workout can be scaled according to an individual’s physical ability by increasing or decreasing load and intensity. CrossFit is suitable for everyone wishing to achieve superior fitness. Whether you are active-duty military, a stay-at-home-mom, professional athlete, or senior citizen, CrossFit is for YOU. Your workout will be customized to fit your current level of fitness.
Beyond Aesthetics
CrossFit, unlike traditional gym practices, isn't just about looking good. It's about actually being good. CrossFit is designed to bolster 10 different domains of fitness: cardiorespiratory endurance, stamina, strength, power, flexibility, speed, coordination, agility, balance and accuracy. The workouts are randomized and can include any and all combinations of plyometrics, sprints, Olympic lifts, gymnastic moves and kettlebell work during the course of your 45-60 minute session. You will receive
a proper warm up, instruction, workout, and stretch.
