Join Chuck Gonzales for this ultra informative 4-hour workshop to discuss and practice the foundations of CrossFit. The Foundations Workshop is a hands-on course which teaches aspiring CrossFitters how to properly execute the 9 fundamental exercises of CrossFit. Participants are not expected to master these 9 exercises in just 4 hours, however, with our experienced coaching staff you will become comfortable executing these movements in a group setting.
Completion of this course and ability to show proficiency in performance of these foundational movements is mandatory in order to advance to CrossFit group sessions. If you've been attending classes for a while and feel like you need a little more instruction, this is for you, too!
In the Foundations Workshop, we will review the 9 fundamental movements of CrossFit. They are:

1) Dead lift
2) Sumo deadlift high pull
3) Clean
4) Squat
5) Front squat
6) Overhead squat
7) Press
8) Push press
9) Jerk |
Special emphasis will be placed on nutrition during 90 minutes of the course. |
