In today’s world, the idea of delayed gratification is almost a foreign concept. Just about everything you want or need can be found and purchased at the click of a button. It’s no wonder that we, as a population, have such a tough time waiting for anything at all.
Take weight loss, for instance. Why do you think people try every pill, fad and crazy home remedy that promises quick weight loss? It’s become second nature to expect an easy fix. But, think about it…even if you get a short term fix, the probability of a long term solution will remain evasive. I get it. You want to look and feel better as quickly as possible which is why the availability of a short term, immediate fix is so alluring.
The reality is, permanent weight loss takes time. I can’t stress enough that you will get out of this program what you put into it. “Don’t give up what you want most for what you want now”.
